Bridges, Railways, Roads

Sectors

Infrastructure projects from environmental report, planning and acquisition of rights to finished construction. We are passionate about ensuring the best conditions for new bridges, railways and roads – these are our society’s major investments.

LE34 shows the way

Community infrastructure

Our bridges, railways and roads connect us. LE34 paves the way for these new connections from the very beginning: from advice on land and rights to setting out coordinates, control surveys throughout the project and as-built documentation when the project is ready for inauguration.

We draw on our extensive experience when we contribute to major infrastructure projects. We know exactly where, when and how our experts should step in. We have therefore adapted our consultancy services to ensure that we can provide expertise at all stages of the project – right from the extensive rerouting of cables and expropriation cases, which are a necessity before ground can be broken.

Before, during and after construction work

Preliminary legal and planning activities are usually extensive for major infrastructure projects that span the country. We therefore specialise in tackling the necessary preliminary work, including preparation of environmental reports and local development plans and acquisition of land. We negotiate transfer of rights with landowners and handle public meetings, expropriation, land registration and cadastral procedures.

Once the actual construction work begins, we organise surveys, setting out and monitoring. We set out for excavations, foundations and drilling, and we monitor surrounding buildings, as well as the parts of the project already erected, to ensure that any impact from the work is detected, documented and stopped in time. We offer 24/7 monitoring and emergency response. This means that subsidence, cracks and changes are constantly monitored and data analysed by our experts around the clock.

The need for monitoring will usually continue after the construction work is finished. We provide detailed as-built data as documentation. This constitutes the contractor’s final handover of the project to the client. We have refined our BIM models to such an extent that we are leading providers of Building Information Modelling (BIM). We are able to provide 3D files of both outdoor and indoor areas, containing every detail – surfaces, materials and dimensions

Several hundred kilometres of track a year

LE34 has a long history of collaboration with Banedanmark, surveying several hundred kilometres of railway a year in connection with track renewal, raising of railway bridges, construction of new line sections, inspection of railway embankments and electrification of the railway.

Our decades of collaboration with Banedanmark have made us one of Denmark’s leading providers of rail surveying services. We’ve built up extensive experience and gained an in-depth understanding of the details such surveys should include, as well as of the requirements for reliable rail services. We work with intelligent code tables, which are integrated into our surveying equipment. This helps ensure an effective surveying process and guarantees compliance with Banedanmark’s rail standards.
