About us

200 years of development. The older LE34 gets, the more modern we become.

LE34 shows the way

Kenneth Norre, CEO:

“LE34 is a local, national and global presence: on land, at sea and in the air. This means we have an in-depth understanding of local conditions and their relation to global circumstances. It makes us reliable and agile and gives us a full picture. And it ensures that we’re always close to our clients, regardless of project size or geographical location.”

Intelligent, multidisciplinary consultancy

LE34’s skills and business areas are structured to enable us to deliver the precise consultancy package our clients request. From planning and urban development to expropriation and land registration. From setting out and subdivision to monitoring and laser scanning. And from volume surveying and data processing to augmented reality and as-built documentation. Our specialists cover every aspect. On land, at sea and from the air.

Managing peak demand

We have structured our resource management so that we always know who we can call in, when and where. This means that we are always able to guarantee that our clients’ projects will be finished on time – if the workload is heavy at one office, there is always someone available at a neighbouring office.

On site at short notice

With our 29 offices strategically placed across the Nordic countries, and at least 100 surveying teams in the field each day, we are no more than an hour from any project. Our local presence is important to our clients, and therefore important to us. Since we are familiar with local conditions, we are able to take all parameters and stakeholders into account in our consultancy – and this adds value for our clients.

Professional strength

To ensure professional development and strong expertise in our specialist fields, we have divided LE34 into a number of business areas, each with their own director and regular network meetings.  Units span all of our geographical locations. Therefore, we always have an expert at hand to give guidance and advice, regardless of where we are in the country. Our six specialist fields are:

• Enviromental Impact Assessment, Planning & Land Law

• Cadastral Services

• Engineering Surveying

• Offshore

• Renewable Energy & Wind Turbines

• Utilities and GIS

These six areas enable us to provide our clients with multidisciplinary services – always personally guided by experts.

CSR - LE34 for a world with equal access to land rights

70% of the world’s population are not guaranteed the right to own or manage land. And this is a problem – because how can you build up a stable foundation for your life if the land you own, cultivate and perhaps even live on can be taken away from you at a moment’s notice?

We believe that we are obliged to make an active contribution due to our 200 years of experience of land registration and our understanding of the Danish cadastral system, according to which the ownership of land is governed by rights, responsibility and restrictions. We are therefore actively involved in the World Bank’s initiatives and the UN’s 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. We work every day to identify areas in which LE34 can help combat the challenges facing the world because we believe that our expertise imposes an obligation to do so.

Professional management and board of directors

As the country’s largest provider of surveying and land management services, we believe that we have a responsibility to spearhead the professionalisation of our industry. We have had great success in prioritising management of LE34 by experts. We have appointed Ulrik Ahrendt-Jensen as professional chairman of our board of directors and Kenneth Norre as professional CEO. Their experience gives them the authority and ballast needed to ensure that we are constantly one step ahead in terms of technological developments, processes and the results we create for our clients.

ISO Certification

LE34 was the first surveying consultancy in Denmark to be ISO 9001 certified. This means that our work always complies with the highest quality standards and the strictest documentation requirements. Quality assurance and risk management give us the basic management tools we need to handle our projects, ensuring that our procedures are uniform nationwide and that projects can be handed over simply and seamlessly. This ensures our clients reliability of supply, peace of mind and punctuality.

Quality assurance

Our quality management system is fundamental to our production. All procedures are documented and meticulously reviewed by the relevant experts. This means that we are never in doubt about how to tackle a project correctly. It also means that our clients receive the same high quality every time, whoever the contact and whatever the location.

Take care of my colleague

At LE34, we pay particular attention to safety. We must be able to guarantee the safety of our employees when they are working on projects in the field, and our employees must be aware that their safety is always our first priority. We run safety and information campaigns to this end, and employees are always welcome to call Kenneth Norre directly if they notice anything that does not comply with safety requirements when they are working away from the office.
