LE34 Viborg has been the city’s provider of surveying and land management services for more than 150 years. With our history rooted in the local area, our staff of competent employees and the support of the LE34 organisation, we guarantee the best advisory services and project execution.

We have many years’ experience in traditional land surveying services, such as boundary and property advice, formal registration, preparation of a project charters, local development plans and negotiations with landowners, to benefit both public and private clients. We also handle a wide range of consultancy and surveying projects for the construction industry, agriculture, the utilities sector and public authorities, among others.

LE34 Viborg carried out rectification of land redistribution for the Skals Å river valley wetlands project for the Danish AgriFish Agency

The wetlands cover an area of 245 ha, most of which was drained by a large pumping station belonging to a drainage association founded in 1941. Before redistribution of the land, the project area was divided between around 50 landowners. This number has now been halved. LE34 was responsible for demarcation of, and surveying for, the new property boundaries, land registry, project preparation, declarations of distribution of easements and formal registration of declarations of property cohesion.

UAV mapping for projects both large and small

LE34 uses UAVs every day for both small and large-scale projects, and our process-oriented consultancy, innovative UAV mapping and clever digital tools save our clients time, money and hassle.

UAV technology today ensures extremely high quality, accuracy and resolution, and the UAVs have so many advantages that they are now a natural part of ordinary, everyday surveying tasks.

It is often much easier to film with a UAV than to measure using manually selected points. You can be sure that everything is included in the survey. In an urban area, you can glean just as much from a few minutes of drone operation as from a whole day’s manual surveying.

From the images, we generate a three-dimensional model with many millions of data points, and we can measure everything in this.
